  • Engaging

I have been listening now to a few episodes of the podcast (mostly old ones for now) and I have to say, it is very engaging and relevant to me. I like that it is not prescriptive (you should do this and that), rather it encourages me to think about some fundamental questions and give a few tools to that effectively.

  • Amazing and Helpful Advice

I was active duty in the military for over a decade and recently decided to leave the military to seek other opportunities. I haven’t had to search for or interview for a job in the civilian sector since I was in high school, so this was all new to me. I felt disadvantaged and intimidated because I was competing against people wit... more

  • Got a job in a month after listening

Started my job search in February and just accepted an offer in March. My cover letter, resume, and interview techniques changed drastically in that month thanks to you. My only request is to do an episode about mothers with children; some people would ask if I had a kid or refer to me as the candidate with a kid. Thanks again for the advice

  • Thank you!!

I've been meaning to write this review for a while but wanted to thank you for delivering such great advice and I credit this podcast for helping me get my first job out of college. I'm now a property manager full time at a decent sized management company and used your advice and tips to do it. I have bad anxiety and often am bad at conveying out loud what is in my head. I practiced and studied and after my third interview was offered the position. I can say that each interview I was able to pra... more
