  • Amazing Advice

I started listening to this podcast several years ago when I was actively looking for a job. I decided to stop my job search but restarted again this year. Matthew’s advice throughout was phenomenal. I ended up scheduling a one on one coaching session as well and would highly recommend that too. I got the job that I was looking for and couldn’t be happier!

  • Engaging

I have been listening now to a few episodes of the podcast (mostly old ones for now) and I have to say, it is very engaging and relevant to me. I like that it is not prescriptive (you should do this and that), rather it encourages me to think about some fundamental questions and give a few tools to that effectively.

  • Amazing and Helpful Advice

I was active duty in the military for over a decade and recently decided to leave the military to seek other opportunities. I haven’t had to search for or interview for a job in the civilian sector since I was in high school, so this was all new to me. I have advanced engineering degrees, an MBA, and ample experience, but I was still underprepared because I had no experience with the job search and interview process. I felt disadvantaged and intimidated because I was competing against people wit... more

  • Got a job in a month after listening

Started my job search in February and just accepted an offer in March. My cover letter, resume, and interview techniques changed drastically in that month thanks to you. My only request is to do an episode about mothers with children; some people would ask if I had a kid or refer to me as the candidate with a kid. Thanks again for the advice
