I like that it is not prescriptive (you should do this and that), rather it encourages me to think about some fundamental questions and give a few tools to that effectively.
I was active duty in the military for over a decade and recently decided to leave the military to seek other opportunities. I haven’t had to search for or interview for a job in the civilian sector since I was in high school, so this was all new to me. I have advanced engineering degrees, an MBA, and ample experience, but I was still underprepared because I had no experience with the job search and interview process. Started my job search in February and just accepted an offer in March. My cover letter, resume, and interview techniques changed drastically in that month thanks to you.
