  • Best rivalries

Love the show fellas. Followed you here from DW. Does the hometowns of the players factor in? These national brands are paying players from all over who didn’t grow up with the rivalries. How many Ohio state and Michigan players are from Florida or Texas? Did they really grow up caring about that game? It matters in the rankings and it’s something that bothers me about the Big Ten’s ascendancy now that they can pay players. It’s not state or regional pride anymore. It’s money.

  • Less Sports and More Commercials

Old format was better. I was definitely telling people about this show for years. This new format with On3 is a 23 minute episode that is 8 minutes of commercials so it’s like 15 minutes of sports. I get it’s not college football season, but this isn’t even the dead season for sports yet. Hope they can find some footing. I will gladly come back and give it five stars if the show improves.

  • More sports please

Really like you guys, but unfortunately I’ve stopped listening the last year or so because it’s only college sports. Wish you talked more about the NFL and NBA, even MLB..

  • Solid Sports Show

It’s a great sports show overall and they are now purely college football which is fine. I liked when they covered the NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, and other sports when they were part of DW. Still a great show and I will continue to listen to them

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Todd McShay's Top-10 College Football Players in 2026
Q: What are the main pillars you consider when evaluating players across positions, not just quarterbacks?
The pillars include tape study, physical tools, game feel, and the ability to translate college production into NFL potential, with a particular emphasis on mobility and how a quarterback's mechanics and decision-making will adapt to pro schemes.
CFB BUY Or SELL with Paul Finebaum
Q: Do you think the Texas fan base will turn on Steve Sarkisian if they miss the playoffs this year?
I'm selling the idea that the fan base will immediately turn on Sarkisian; the fan base has patience given their history, though media sentiment may shift if results are not achieved.
CFB BUY Or SELL with Paul Finebaum
Q: Paul Finebaum, are you buying or selling that Kalen DeBoer will win a national title at Alabama during his tenure?
I'm selling that; Alabama's standard and unique history make it unlikely that DeBoer will clinch a national title at Alabama specifically, though he could be successful elsewhere.
Georgia Bulldogs Football 2026 Season Preview with On3's Rusty Mansell
Q: Coney, what does the schedule look like and how does it set up the team this year?
Rusty and the hosts walk through a schedule that starts with a mix of non-conference and SEC opponents, with potential early tests but a path that could help the defense and Gunnar Stockton settle in, followed by tougher games that will reveal the team's depth and ceiling.
Alabama Football 2026 Season Preview with Josh Pate
Q: What could signal progress or risk as the season unfolds?
Key indicators would be the effectiveness of the run game, the efficiency of the RPO integration, and whether the QB transition solidifies into consistent high-end play by September and November.
