  • Ad editing

Enjoy the podcast, like the guys and the content. But the ads dropping in literally mid sentence is just too much. The continuity of the thought is lost and it makes it very difficult to listen.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Press Conference: Alex Golesh previews Fall Camp for Auburn Football
Q: How important is player-led leadership in this preseason, and how quickly do you expect that to emerge?
Leadership is crucial and must come from within the players, not just coaches. We're accelerating leadership development by pushing players to speak up, hold each other to standards, and progressively take ownership as roles are defined.
Press Conference: Alex Golesh previews Fall Camp for Auburn Football
Q: Talk about the camp at the resort and whether that has been done in the past, and if you can add more team-building activities there.
Absolutely; we've done camp at the resort for three years, and the focus is on eliminating distractions while also integrating team-building activities. We'll balance structured sessions with some social/team events to build chemistry and leadership.
SEC Media Days: 9-Game Schedule Impact, Officiating Transparency, and Technology Innovations with Commissioner Greg Sankey
Q: What changes can fans expect in officiating transparency and access to how calls are made?
He notes that announcements are careful, that disputes in officiating are common, and emphasizes continued use of replay and the potential for enhanced access to video/audio during reviews.
SEC Media Days: 9-Game Schedule Impact, Officiating Transparency, and Technology Innovations with Commissioner Greg Sankey
Q: What are your thoughts on the nine-game schedule and its impact on playoff expansion?
The commissioner explains that the playoff format decision is separate in timing from the football scheduling decision and that they need to consider data and fan interest while keeping high-quality non-conference opponents.
SEC Media Days: Cole Cubelic on Alex Golesh, Byrum Brown’s SEC Readiness, and Auburn’s Offensive Line Prospects
Q: How does Auburn's offensive line affect the trajectory of the season?
The line's development and coaching will be decisive; strong center play and improved technique could unlock the offense, while depth and health remain concerns that could influence outcomes early in the year.
