I listened to most of these episodes after my father sustained a TBI. Dr. Chiaramonte’s insight and practical advice was super helpful. Then when my father died a few weeks later, I dug back and listened to episodes on grief. It has been so helpful. Now that I’m back at work, listening to the episodes pertinent to thriving at work! This podcast has been a life saver for me!
I don’t know how I found your podcast but so glad I did. I’m a caregiver - my husband has been battling stage 4 cancer for 2 years now. I wish our oncology team would spend more time explaining things like handling uncertainty, pain and grief. Palliative care is largely reserved to final weeks or months here in Canada. Caregivers are largely on their own.
Hopefully your training will reach more physicians.
Thank you for all that you do.
I love Dr. Chiramonte’s style of communication. She is honest, humble, compassionate, evidenced based, and super smart. Her guests are interesting and topics are relevant to those of us who work with seriously ill or dying patients. I recommend to all of my colleagues in hospice.
Well done!
