I have been a long time fan of Rands works - found his blog, dove into his books, and have enjoyed the first and second iterations of The Important Thing a great deal.
This podcast is great for me with a nice mix of clear focus on a topic (you can skip one - I wouldn’t), a decent amount of depth, and often a look in on someone else’s lives and says of thinking.

I could listen to Michael and Lyle talk all day. The breadth of topics is refreshing and every one has been relevant. Their conversations have enlightened me to what can make being a manager rewarding.
The format is a bit of a random walk, but you usually come away with some useful nuggets of information and insights.
So here is some feedback. I LOVE listening to these guys. While I don't really know Lyle, I think he is a great interviewer. And that works well here because, although he definitely has a lot of interesting things to say, I feel like the podcast is really about Rands. I have been reading Rands on and off for years now, and always find his take on things refreshing, and/or deep, and/or totally the way I think. I find I learn some nugget with each episode.
