  • Valuable interaction

Dude! You guys rock. I hunt from the ground in a ghille suit in Northern PA. Most hunters I know do not still hunt. So I do not have a sound board to evaluate my technique, tactics and procedures. Listening to you guys immediately helps me recognize process improvements. I consider and implement almost immediately. You guys KA!

  • Keep coming back for more

I’ve been watching the YouTube channel for much longer, but getting into the podcast over the last couple months. THP is where I first got very interested in the land management side of hunting. Would love more content around the subject. Including tree/plant identification. It’s not always easy to easily find what’s native or invasive with a google search, but these guys always seem to simplify things in a great way.

#293 - Tactics for Hunting PRESSURED Turkeys! - NWTF Convention Seminar w/THP
Q: Is there a point in the season where you just assume that the birds are pressured, they're changing their behavior, and you're starting with Plan B, or are you starting every area with your prototypical approach, I guess?
There's a little bit of assumption, you know, like second week of season, after it's been open for a week, and you got turkeys that are gobbling close to the parking lot.
#293 - Tactics for Hunting PRESSURED Turkeys! - NWTF Convention Seminar w/THP
Q: What about timer long-term patterns between bad hunters?
The number one thing is just trying to pick out that hunter tendency first.
#293 - Tactics for Hunting PRESSURED Turkeys! - NWTF Convention Seminar w/THP
Q: So, do you guys have any advice? What are you doing? Are you getting there early to try to get, I always say, on the backside of them, where everybody's calling you when I call on the backside?
We walk like turkeys a lot. I mean, one of the main things that we do is stop and go, stop and go, constantly listening.
