The Acid Capitalist podcasts

Hugh Hendry

Robert Mugabe’s henchmen once threatened to throw him out of a plane at 30,000 feet, and the good people of Iceland sent him death threats when he foretold them of their future bankruptcy. The seal who assassinated Osama bin Laden taught him to shoot, and he’s dined with the CIA in a North Korean embassy in the northern states of China. His name is Hugh Hendry, and he was born in a city so grey it’s known as rain town, his apparent destiny to be a supermarket truck driver. It didn’t work out like that.

  • I love a good contrarian!

The Acid Capitalist hits all the best synapses. Simultaneously serious and irreverent, sometimes incomprehensible, but always fun and sincere. Never a bad flashback!

  • Well worth tuning in

Superb. Hugh’s latest rant is fantastic. One of the more fun and rational podcasts out there. Straight to the point in the latest episode. Sounds like Hugh was long carbon credits ! Also loving the construction noise backdrop. What other podcasters would be confident enough to be surrounded by builders whilst mid-rant. Genuinely love it. Keep up the great work chaps.
