  • Good, but can be a chore to follow

I really like their top lists of new releases, but there are no corresponding show notes, so it makes it very frustrating to find the bands and albums they talk about.

For example, they discussed how to pronounce the band Gjenferd, but never spell it out for us listeners. Imagine trying to find that band’s music, when all you hear are multiple pronunciations, with no indication of how it is spelled.

It’s as though there is no regard for the listener, since the hosts are looking at the actual... more

  • Great show on rock & rock history

Discovered The Hook Rocks via another great podcast Shout it out Loudcast as cohost Zeus was a guest on the Whitesnake legacy episode and I am indeed hooked! Whitesnake was my first concert on 1990 Slip of the Tongue tour. 1987 was my introduction to Whitesnake and have dabbled with their history but this episode taught me a lot of things I didn’t know and some songs I need to check out. Going back to listen to older episodes and loving it! You got yourself a new listener! 🤘🏻
