I gave you guys four stars because I’ve heard some really well produced shows and I particularly love when you go back and revisit all albums with producers and stories, etc.. that said, I think it might be time to hang it up. It’s been all personal stories, talk about being a professional drummer, blah blah. Like, Gene, says. Run ... more

  • Thank You!

Hello fellow KISS people! Just a note to let you know how much I appreciate the podcast. I’ve been a passionate KISS fan since my Mom bought me my first KISS album (Alive II). After dropping the needle of mom’s Magnavox stereo on that record, my life was immediately changed. After that, I HAD to have everything KISS! The albums, lunchbox, posters, action figures, bubblegum cards, well you know…. I was even a card carrying member of the KISS Army! Listening to you guys brings me back to those day... more

“Kiss doing Frank Zappa doing Kiss” New Music Express Rock And Roll Over Review from 1977
Q: Bruce, can you talk about that? I'm sorry, Mike, I keep stepping on you. Let me just ask you really quick, because you know this space better than most people. There's a few things that always seem to pop up when I'm meeting with artists and managers. One is merch fees. And I've heard some developing and middle-class artists who have been successful at negotiating those down or out. And I wanted to get your take on that.
Merch fees can absolutely be negotiated and should be addressed when booking the date to maximize potential earnings.
