  • This was my favorite for a minute.

I’m moving on. Prop needs to change his tagline, because he’s completely changed what his show used to be about. I’m not sure he even knows anymore.

  • Appreciate it!

I’m so grateful for this podcast. Prop’s skill as an educator is apparent when he makes complex topics accessible and engaging. His perspective is refreshing and helps me feel a little less adrift while riding out all these social and political s-storms.

  • Better than first year poli sci classes

Political issues are vast and vague. It is an intimidating topic to approach. The way prop explains situations and how politics follow the same patterns makes sense of a confusing landscape.

And the underlying history lessons for those of us who haven’t had to pay as much attention, are noted and appreciated

  • Irrelevant

Skip this an just listen to other shows on the network.

If you took a shot every time Prop fails to relate something to his personal life or when he simply says “know what I’m saying”. You’d die of alcohol poisoning before the first ad break. Garbage show.

Fire Prop or keep him off the other shows.

Dude is the weakest link in the network.

CZM Rewind: To Live And Die In LA: Going Outside with Pastor Cue to the ICE Protests
Q: First, tell our audience who you are and what you do.
Cue introduces himself as the pastor of the Church Without Walls in Skid Row, founder of Creating Justice LA, and a leader building social enterprises to support the community.
Cityscapes: Istanbul and Muslim Country Living - Brother Ali Pt. 2
Q: What surprised you most about how politics are perceived abroad versus in the United States?

If Intersectionality Were a Person: Brother Ali
Q: How do you understand the concept of intersectionality in your experience?
The speakers discuss intersectionality as a practical framework that explains how race, religion, culture, and class intertwine; they emphasize that these are not abstract ideas but lived realities shaped by education, community, and mutual aid.
If Intersectionality Were a Person: Brother Ali
Q: Tell me about the rapper to activist pipeline.
Ali describes a trajectory where artistry, religion, and community work reinforce each other, with early exposure to Malcolm X and KRS-One shaping his sense of purpose, and the activist role emerging naturally from a life rooted in community issues and spirituality.
The Art of Petty with Amanda Nelson
Q: How did your formal training shape your approach to presenting political history to a general audience?
Amanda explains that her history degree and activism background drive a method of presenting complex policy in plain language, with careful research and a focus on accessibility.
