Good podcast that I’ve been listening to for a few months. My main concern is that some of the hosts don’t share the podcast with the other host very well. Sometimes certain hosts monopolize the conversation and the other host seems like an audience member.
Given the fact that WBB is primarily a space for people of color/queer people/immigrants, you would think Chelsea Leite and this podcast would recognize the importance of pronouncing someone’s name. This is an incredibly common mistake, happening (on average) twice in a show—if not more. It takes no more than five minutes to listen to players say their names (Togethxr has some videos for these!) and say them correctly. This shows a lack of preparation, professionalism, and care for this podcast.... more
After giving this WNBA podcast multiple chances throughout the year, I've finally decided to move on. While there are occasional valuable insights sprinkled throughout episodes, the overall listening experience has been frustrating.
Chelsea relies heavily on recapping her Twitter feed rather than offering original analysis or reporting. Her limited knowledge of the league and sport becomes apparent in discussions, where she either struggles to articulate clear thoughts or falls back on repeated... more
I really enjoy the show. Excellent energy and expertise, and really great chemistry. Since I listen to this most often in the car, I’ll say that I wish the sound on Megan‘s side of the conversation was more even. Sometimes there is a significant drop off at the end of sentences, and I don’t know if it’s a technical issue or just simply a projection one from a vocal standpoint. I always enjoy this show, and would love to literally and figuratively hear more of it. Thanks a lot!
This show has great content, but Megan’s voice trails off at the end of most of her sentences, and on top of that her audio setup doesn’t sound good. As a result, too much of what Megan has to say is unintelligible.
