Patrick, THANK YOU for bringing this podcast back. Between COVID and work and general burnout from running a club and teaching, I’ve been really “going through the motions” with HEMA recently, but these first few episodes of the new run have been fantastic, and your content is a much needed pick me up in the HEMA sphere for me. Thank you thank you thank you!!!
We need more of this! Reading is great, but conversations between knowledgeable people provides insight that is hard to get outside of class / instruction. Great work, I love seeing new episodes pop up in my feed.
It’s great to have this to listen to while working on something else, or driving so I can multi-task my HEMA fix with my other responsibilities. A great show, that only looks to get better!
This podcast is great, it offers up both the excitement of newcomers to HEMA as well as the insights of the veterans of the community. Very excellent interviews, hopefully Patrick will be able to interview every instructor from every school one day!
The HEMA-Cast is a great podcast where Mr. McCaffrey travels the New England area speaking with different HEMA groups and discussing HEMA related topic with some of the who's who of the American HEMA community. I've listened to the whole catalog of episodes multiple times now just scratch that HEMA itch while driving or at the gym.
