The things JJ does are incredible, especially when talking about off-ball rip screens. His X’s and O’s are very good, almost coaching level stuff. But LeBron takes away from it, being an attention grabbing on the podcast as a clickbaiter and someone who needs attention. The Old Man and the Three is what I will stick to.
Among the things I like about the pod, I gotta say both of JJs intro beats are legit. OM3 has that grimey 90s EC style. And this intro reminds me of like a Madlib, Dilla or phase 1-2 of RZA. Sweet show so far 🤙🏼
Love the technical basketball content! But stop mansplaining the W Lebron! Tell me one player who has “hated” on Caitlin Clark. Show me the actual quote, I’ll wait
I lost respect if Lebron when he talked sh_ _ about his teammates. I lost respect when JJ thinks he can be a NBA HC without any coach experience in the NBA or NCAA. Lebron loves attention. JJ IS CONDESCENDING.
Sincerely,
