  • Great Podcast with Mike Palmer

Your inaugural episode with Michael Palmer was epic! I heard of his first Yosemite Half Dome climb over a camp fire in the Minnesota BWCA wilderness. He is definitely a stud! Still can’t believe he was up for 40+ hours and still got to class at Cal Poly. Awesome to know that he is still at it in NC now.

Keep up the good work with the podcast - you guys are rock stars 🪨⭐️!

Ground Up 22: Five Decades of Climbing with Coach Eric Hörst
Q: What are your thoughts on private and hidden crags?
If there's private land with zero percent chance of it being opened, I personally, why, I don't want to invest my money in terms of hardware, because putting up routes is expensive. It's a lot of work and it's not worth it. But if an area is private and closed, I don't personally see the value in sinking the money and the time into something that's never going to be opened to the broader public.
