Hitner, Brooks, and Willis are the best trio. I find myself gravitating towards the Grit over any Niner podcast because they are honest and not afraid to tell it how it is. I like that they touch on the league and aren’t just stuck strictly talking Niner football, as well.
My husband and I grew up big Willis/Bowman fans (named our pup after P. Willis)… however I find myself loving Hitner more and more each week. Great takes!
This podcast takes me back down memory lane, as well as keep it honest with the current situation of the Niners my favorite era of 49er players. Good job fellas….Who’s got it better than us…
Not sure how Donte Whitner is a better podcaster than football player but damn he went and did it!
Have always loved listening to Donte on the radio and TV, glad he has his own podcast. Miss listening to Rod on KNBR too. Thanks for doing this fellas!
The Goldson episode is really good. I remember all that, including both Goldson UDUB days and Donte's OSU days.
I always thought the Niners should have kept Donte, Goldson, Carlos, & TB together, thought they were better than Seattle's DB's always.
Whitner and Willis kill it on this podcast. The host Rod is also spectacular. Tuning in every week
