Sorry, no. Sounds like a high school student reading a paper to the class.
Please take your time. It’s WESTMINSTER Abbey not West(a member of the clergy). It’s LITERATURE not litta-chur.
I think it’s read by AI. Very monotonous. No emphasis on anything.
Your voices are pleasant and the subject matter is interesting. However you mispronounced PALERMO every time you read it. Fortunately you can easily find the correct pronunciation for any word by looking it up.
Make your podcast a five star production by caring enough to pronounce words correctly.
I want to love this pod because it’s a super interesting topic. However, the host consistently pronounces things extremely wrong, like chrysanthemums in the latest Sicily episode. Also, the voice is very monotone but also mumbled so it sounds like the script is being read poorly from a page. Overall, I think some simple improvements and attention to detail could really improve the overall pod.
