I could spend a billion years of my infinite lightLife in this single decade of history: 1890 - 1900. And this podcast author has a similar fascination with this small, seminal point on the planet’s timeline. This brings the past to life, at the same time telling a creepy horror story.
This is an excellent golden age - type gothic whodunnit- pacy with great characters, and snappy dialogue .Set in Dublin early last century and evocative of the city at that time.
Came to this via the author’s other show (“Words to that Effect”) which is excellent and I also love. I don’t normally venture into audio drama podcasts, but I am really enjoying this one. The story, production, and voice acting are all absorbing and high-quality. Give episode 1 a try and I think you’ll want to continue. More, please!
