Bryan Magee is an excellent interviewer who is actually knowledgeable about the philosophy being discussed.
An intellectual balsam, an instructive and brightly articulated flow of ideas articulated clearly through a a wonderful sophisticated conversation style.
Increasing the flow of intelligent and instructive content like this would be great.
Thank you to Bryan Magee and his invitees. E.L.
This is a wonderful primer on the history of philosophy. Just wish it had the entire series. It’s missing the first three episodes on Socrates/Plato, Aristotle, and the medieval show focused primarily on Augustine & Aquinas. Hopefully one day these will appear. Well worth checking out, though.
These are great conversations with great philosophers of the second half of 20th Century - and this makes it historical. A lot of things have happened in philosophy since that time - but of course fundamentals are always the same.
Fantastic interviews with Bryan Magee - could you upload more?
