The thing that sets this show apart from other Bake Off recaps is their astute observations of the behaviors of the hosts, judges, and contestants. They talk about the things I notice and hope other people have noticed as well.
I LOVE this show! The mix of personalities and levels of interest seems to range from enthusiastic fan of GBBO to barely knows what the name of the show is, but who cares anyway. It’s wonderful! The sound quality is terrible, the format is confusing and changes every week, but the theme song is always the same. Overall, it’s perfection in a pod.
You guys are hilar! Fun banter & witty opinions abound!
As someone who isn’t an expert on baking or podcasting, it’s really nice to listen to four people who also aren’t experts on those things. But you know what they are experts in? Delightful conversation. I love the Great British Baking show, and now it’s even more fun to watch, because now I think, “Ooh, Tessa’s gonna have a lot to say about THAT moment!” or “Can’t wait to hear what Nick thinks about that cake” or “Ugh I’m SUCH a Nanny when it comes to the three types of British people.” This pod... more
