  • High hopes but could use a little more thought.

    I feel like some basic themes of the story are being ignored. Several times crew members are criticized for not being useful fighters or are being reasoned into the crew on the idea of pragmatism or obligation on Luffys part but that doesn’t matter to him at all luffy doesn’t care how useful someone is all he needs to decide someone is on the crew is if he likes them as a person.

  • More people like usopp than Derek

    Girls are great Derek has a hate boner for usopp even tho before this podcast he had basically not seen the first hundred or so episodes and gets so many facts about the story and Oda wrong Ps. Just listened to the usopp and chopper fight and wow y’all really hate this man for being comedic relief He gave one of the best speeches that have ever been put to paper and all y’all could talk about was chopper ! Boomers are wild

  • This One Piece Podcast is one piece of GOLD!

    If you like One Piece and want a great podcast reviewing it or just want a hilarious time I highly recommend this podcast! The chemistry between co-hosts is incredible, the MVPiece is a great addition, they are the nicest people, they even let me come on and argue with them about Nami. Sincerely your Pandaman, Gaimon, Patty, and Nami loving fan Smash Trivia John!

    P.S. I will fight Whitney about any of those characters.

  • Solid podcast for new fans

    The early episodes of One Piece really benefit from this companion podcast. Derek, Whitney, and Amanda have wonderful chemistry and their shared love of the show is contagious. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone who wants to watch this show for the first time.
