I just found your podcast — good stuff. Our family owns timberland in Emanuel County (has for generations) so I was first drawn to your episode on Hurricane Helene. We landowners appreciate the GFC and are still anxiously awaiting relief funds to make it to us. You’re right that this is a generational loss but it also brought out the best from the GFC, churches, and neighbors.
