Energectic people talking about a wide variety of topics.
The podcast can be really fun, but sometimes, the audio issues and the lack of focus do get in the way. I almost always enjoy it though, the crew is funny, and some of their topics are great. I especially liked episode 74, which I only clicked because of the crazy name, but the Dragon*Con stuff was great!
Audio isn't bad. Good for games and other geeky stuff.
The show certainly maintains a jocular, lose attitude that seems relatively comfortable - save for a handful of members. While members like Alexandra and CJ certainly know how to mix the two together in an entertaining fashion, members like Rachael don't seem to understand just how distracting and generally full of complaints they are. The entirety of the show is not really centered or focused on anything remotely geeky or nerdy, which would be fine if the name of the cast was not GeekIO. Most o... more
They are always making me laugh, me and my boyfriend listen every week, live and download it. Though, I have almost got in a lot of accidents because of listening to them when I drive. It's a pleasure to have them in my podcast lineup every week.
A good show over all but there audio could be better as it comes and goes from moment to moment and show to show some of them are just fine then another time its almost unbarable. but a good show for teck, games and things over all. Please fix the audio
I love the comedy and wit of the show hosts as well as the fact that there's a new guest each week. They take the time to examine and break down the news stories that matter most, from a nerds point of view. CJ's Soundboar is starting to get filled with some pretty funny drops from guests and his co-hosts. The show has really gotten better with it's new format.
In episode 22 the hosts seem to stray away from tech and offer their opinion on Ron Paul. I listened to the podcast for the interview with Robot Entertainment and not a commentary about politics. Some of us believe in Ron Pauls message about liberty and a return to the constitution. I had to end the podcast in disgust. I will not listen to this podcast again.
If you want an easygoing tech podcast with knowledgable hosts and guests, then take a listen! Tadpool Tech uses all the wonderful, smart people of the Tadpool to discuss current tech/gadget stories... and the Obligatory Bacon Story. ;D
