  • Uneducated host

Some of the questions from Claire Harvey on the BRS episode is just uneducated and can’t call herself a journalist!

  • Okayest Reporting Ever

Three stars for something that’s “fine.”

Seriously, now you’re using AI to read tweets so they sound like they’re being delivered by the person who posted on X?

From a journalistic standpoint, this feels dishonest—you’re essentially creating your own fictitious news content instead of reporting what’s actually going on in the world.

You don’t tune in to this mini podcast because you want hard-hitting factual anything, you tune in because it runs 10 minutes and that’s how long it takes to get... more

  • I should not know your opinion

The segment on the Prince Harry and Meghan was disappointing. The hosts were discussing the Australian visit but also giving their opinion on the couple as well. I think it is important journalists remain neutral while discussing the content they cover, I should not know your opinion as you are covering this for The Australian, not your own independent show.

  • As you can tell by the reviews…

Though far from perfect, they are fairly accurate. They receive a lot of negativity due to the alarming amount of radical left wing terrorists here in Australia.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Pure, cold rage: are politicians exploiting white teen’s murder?
Q: What's your assessment of how this is playing out in politics? Do you think this is being weaponised by politicians for their own purposes? And where will it actually take us?
The situation is being weaponised by multiple players, with leaders quickly using public anger to shape narratives, while the real concerns about policing and race require careful, principled leadership that prioritizes accountability and evidence over partisan theater.
$4bn footy: Inside the bitter Nine vs DAZN war for rugby league supremacy
Q: How might anti-siphoning laws affect the deal structure if DAZN wanted to control all rights?
Anti-siphoning laws could force certain games to be offered to free-to-air networks, creating a scenario where even a buy-all package would necessitate on-selling some rights to a free-to-air partner, altering who ultimately carries major matchups like State of Origin and the Grand Final.
$4bn footy: Inside the bitter Nine vs DAZN war for rugby league supremacy
Q: What do you think is the likelihood of Nine and DAZN aiming to buy the NRL rights entirely?
There is a real possibility that either DAZN or Nine could seek to secure all rights, but regulatory rules and the need to preserve some free-to-air access complicate a pure lock, stock, and barrel acquisition; a blended solution or carve-ups remain plausible.
Nobody hates like the Labor Party - and their brawling could sink our submarines
Q: Why is Richard Marles so fired up?
Marles is described as reacting strongly to criticism of Aukus because the government needs to defend a high-stakes, evolving plan while facing factional and public scrutiny, which makes coherent, transparent messaging crucial to maintain support.
Amazon’s billion-dollar James Bond gamble starts with a video game
Q: What do you think about Bond being made more 'shopable' with product placement and integrated shopping?
The hosts see it as a double-edged strategy: it could drive engagement and monetization if done without compromising storytelling, while riskily turning Bond into a merchandising vehicle if overemphasized at the expense of character and narrative depth.
