Truly amazing story but the third season of the podcast is a lot of speculation and theory. It’s unnecessary to put more drama on a story that doesn’t need it especially when not factual. Also feels judgmental. Paul talks about the story as if it’s not his. I’m unsure of his relationship with his adoptive family but at times seems disrespectful to them.
My favorite podcast! I hope he finds Jill.
The story is very interesting. I’m frustrated by the constant judgment in this podcast. It repeatedly assigns motives and attitudes to people—often poor, uneducated, and long deceased—who can’t speak for themselves. Statements like “she didn’t care what they put in the newspaper about her, she just

Great deep dive if you know the story, but if you’re unfamiliar with the story, you’re going to be a little lost. Paul is awesome as a podcast host but the cohost, although very knowledgeable does not add to the banter a lot of silly, laughing unnecessarily she takes away from the podcast
This is such a heartbreaking and I can’t stay away. The story telling by Jack and Tracy has me hooked. I also love when Ce Ce Moore is on. She’s amazing! Thanks for sharing this story.

A gripping, long-form true crime and genealogy show that follows decades of family mystery, identity, and uncovering truth through archival research, interviews, and DNA. It frequently covers kidnapping lore, hidden births, and the evolving role of investigative genetics in solving cold cases, while balancing personal storytelling with methodical investigation. A standout is the integration of family dynamics and archival findings to reframe well-known cases, with occasional guest voices or subject-matter experts enriching the narrative. This program likely appeals to listeners who enjoy deep-dive investigations, family history, and DNA-driven storytelling, and it often teases future revelations to keep audiences returning season after seas... more
