One of the better soccer podcasts out there. The commitment to all levels of US soccer keep it near the top of my podcasts
Well crafted show about soccer; really like the interplay in it.
Best american soccer podcast I listen to, much better then MLS podcast like Extra Time radio.
Would buy again.
These guys are fun, a little quirky, but always entertaining. They give a unique perspective and I love listening.
Yes. Yes, they are. It’s a bunch of regular guys giving regular-guy takes on soccer. Good stuff!
Great soccer podcast who talk about american soccer throughout the "pyramid"
2014 seems to be the year of soccer podcast oversaturation but Evan and Abram bring a refreshing sense of humor to topics that everyone else frankly takes too seriously.
Though they may sometimes sacrifice their arguments for the sake of a good laugh, the format is sound and the First Eleven Podcast is on the top of my list.
If you're looking for a podcast for a serious discussion of American soccer news, this is not your podcast. If you want a fun, entertaining podcast by 2 guys who love soccer but don't take it too seriously, you're in the right place. You'll hear about everything from NPSL all the way up to MLS, Americans abroad and the US National Team, described with debate, sarcasm, blatant homerism, irrational points, and great discussions. If all else fails, ask "is he even good at soccer?"
Good group of guys that understand American soccer, and are trying their hardest to see it from every perspective. Definite listen.
Yes every now and then they are way off, but every now and then they can also give really poignant points. Yes the quality of audio varies alot, but the quality of discussion does not. It's nice to have a show that doesn't take itself too seriously like many American soccer shows. If you complain about the lack of lower league coverage this show hits all the leagues in America and even some of Europe plus the National Team. No it is not always perfect or serious but they are slowly becoming my m... more
This is the best podcast since Benny Feilhaber!
