I love medieval drama and fantasy stories, but I've found I have mixed experiences of them in audio. I love, love, LOVE this. My absolute delight, honestly, as a queer woman, when it turned out that the eponymous knight is a woman and a thief? Absolutely fabulous. After listening to the first episode, this is a world that uses lush atmosphere and the sounds of nature to build horror and tension. Well written prose, great voice acting, and immersive sound design on top of a story that pulls you in.
