The examen is an ancient prayer practice that enables you to find God in your daily life. Our podcast is based on a technique that St. Ignatius Loyola outlined in the "Spiritual Exercises," his classic manual for prayer. Each week Fr. Martin will provide you with a new reflection and guide you through the examen prayer.

So helpful and simple. Thank you.
I think this is the best way to end the day - in gratitude. However the music is awfully distracting. Why not the sounds of God’s creation, ocean waves, or birds and wind in trees? Then i would give it five stars. But not this repeated tapping on a noise maker. Soothing is what is needed. It would help calm the soul.
I have found this podcast very helpful ,I tried other examen but this is the best one , I only wish it was without music , i find it distracting .
Why even pose as Catholic. Go be Anglican an were you can be gay and proud
It’s a great idea. Thanks Father James S.J
