Despite the fact that the overwhelmingly obvious purpose of each episode is to promote the podcaster’s services, this large catalogue does actually provide opportunities for estranged parents to consider many aspects of the situation even if only to reconfirm their original thinking.
The content is good but I am annoyed by the looping guitar music. I don’t find it therapeutic, it’s distracting and unserious. I have never heard a podcast do something like this, even amateur podcasts. I am sure there has been ample feedback about this, but the host is apparently uninterested.
Kreed, I want to thank you for airing this episode about the trauma to parents from estrangement! You helped me immensely when we met and your words of wisdom have been a real resource for me. It has been 4 years and still estranged but I look, feel and act so much different now that I have worked through the grieving process. Listening to this podcast led me to reach out to Kreed for more specific group and one on one support. All have been invaluable. I also took a break for awhile…Coming back today I am appreciating the fresh new format. Somehow there is an even greater compassion and personal vulnerability from Kreed. The sense of being seen from someone who has truly walked this hard reality and who continues to grow on the healing side is powerful and affirming .
I wholeheartedly adore this podcast. This podcast is beautiful and really helps with healing, acceptance, clarity, and to know that we are not alone.
