Kreed, I want to thank you for airing this episode about the trauma to parents from estrangement! You helped me immensely when we met and your words of wisdom have been a real resource for me. It has been 4 years and still estranged but I look, feel and act so much different now that I have worked through the grieving process. I do wish more people would talk about the trauma it causes on your own identity. You said it well and you continue to help all of us moms and dads who need to work throug... more
Listening to this podcast led me to reach out to Kreed for more specific group and one on one support. All have been invaluable. I also took a break for awhile…Coming back today I am appreciating the fresh new format. Somehow there is an even greater compassion and personal vulnerability from Kreed. The sense of being seen from someone who has truly walked this hard reality and who continues to grow on the healing side is powerful and affirming .
I wholeheartedly adore this podcast. This podcast is beautiful and really helps with healing, acceptance, clarity, and to know that we are not alone.

Without blame or finger pointing, she helps us understand how our children were hurt and in their efforts to heal themselves they often have to close contact until WE are able to meet them on a more emotionally validating and understanding basis.

The episode on Divorce & Estrangement spoke to me so loudly. As a parent myself, I do question how my mother could have allowed her child to feel the way I did and how she still lacks the ability to self reflect or understand. Sometimes it’s the parent who abandons and estra... more
