This is such an informative podcast. The phrase “etcetera” is frequently used. It is distracting primarily because it is mispronounced. “Ec” instead of “et”. This is minor as far as the content, but it has become very distracting to me when listening.
This podcast is one of the least helpful for me. I have devoured many resources on this topic and this one leaves me feeling defeated and hopeless. While I know her heart is to help and heal relationships her style is cold and leaves me feeling hopeless. I stopped listening. It’s just not helpful and her language is unprofessional and profane.
If you are a parent and more specifically, a mom who is experiencing estrangement from your adult child(ren), this is the podcast for you. more
is problematic. As an adult estranged child myself, this adult child seems to not be a black sheep, but rather a narcissist who is the common denominator of her difficulty with her family. She seems selfish and as someone who has a real abusive situation, she seems like an immature brat who has to be number one and all of her family’s attention. The only one who is a complainer is her.
