Karl Dutton, the creator of the show, has been pumping out incredible shows based on popular IP for years now and now with his first original series I am SUPER excited to see what he comes up with. So far it's been a great stroy and I can't wait for it to unwravel :)
This is an excellent first episode for a show that takes a familiar set-up (mysterious event changes the lives of ordinary folk) and makes it feel fresh through confident storytelling and excellent performances. There is a lot going on and there are perhaps a few too many changes of POV, but it doesn't take away from the achievement here.
