I don’t recall how I stumbled across the Earth 2 Podcast but I’m glad that I did. As a child of the late silver and Bronze Ages of comics the material they cover is spot on for my interests and memories. Their earliest episodes covering golden age heroes and heroines were definitely fun and informative. And the radio drama style that they use really keeps the listener engaged. If you were around for the DC Silver and Bronze Ages, or just want to find out what great stuff you missed, you have to ... more
Before Crisis on Infinite Earths, DC had created the first Multiverse in comics. The impact of that in the world of comics can’t be ignored. This podcast immerses you in that world of the DC Multiverse through the silver and bronze age of comics. Fun and funny and a great insight into the DC Multiverse. Peter and David do a fantastic job of going through the timeline and bring to life the stories and characters that inhabited that great DC Multiverse.

If you love Silver and Bronze Age DC Comics as much as I do, then you can’t miss this show. David and Peter do a fantastic job - I love the format where they read the issue and then discuss. They also rope in some guests to comics and those episodes are fantastic. My highest recommendation!!
A super-fun podcast that discusses the glory of Silver and Bronze Age DC Comics and the first Multiverse.
David and Peter understand how much fun older comics are whilst acknowledging the sillier aspects! Long Live this podcast!
Just over a year ago I finally decided to check out this podcast, foolishly thinking it was covering similar ground to my own (meagure) efforts. Boy what a fool I was!
Now as I finally catch up, it's going to be hard to have to wait to listen to it weekly, I can't help but enjoy the passion and enthusiasm they put into every episode.
Keep up the good work!

This show revolves around DC Comics' pre-C Crisis multiverse, with a strong emphasis on Golden Age legacy and how those stories echo through Silver and Bronze Age eras. Episodes blend careful plot recaps, artwork analysis, and storytelling tropes, often featuring reenactments and guest voices to bring classic issues to life. A standout aspect is the affectionate, radio-play–style treatment of obscure or public-domain DC material, along with deep dives into crossovers and multiverse concepts that appeal to devoted fans of early DC history. The format, guest contributions, and nostalgia-driven approach make it a good fit for listeners who enjoy thorough issue-by-issue examination and era-specific context, and for sponsors seeking a niche, hig... more
