  • Wonderful stuff

A great new podcast exploring different aspects of dreams. Really interested to see what they cover in future episodes. They’ve already had some very good guests on.

Nice chemistry between the 2 presenters who manage to keep it informal and fun while also getting deep into the topic. Well worth a listen.

  • Absolutely fascinating!

I tried lucid dreaming last night and it worked! It was utterly bizarre as felt I was looking “off camera” when I was looking around. Thank you so much for opening up this whole new world to me!

Series 6, Episode 2: Dream Journals – How To Work With Them

Series 6, Episode 2: Dream Journals – How To Work With Them
Q: What do you recommend as the essential setup for someone starting dream journaling?
Keep a notebook and pen ready by the bed, write in the dark if possible, and set the intention to capture dreams first thing—without overthinking or turning on lights.
Series 6, Episode 6: Children's Dreams – What should we make of them?
Q: Are there regular motifs or archetypes that commonly appear in children's dreams and how should parents respond?
Yes, archetypes and familiar figures like Disney or Star Wars characters often appear; parents should respond with curiosity and safety, using tools like reframing, talking through the dream, or creative enactment to empower the child rather than suppress the imagery.

Q: Can you describe the difference between terrors and nightmares for our listeners?
Terrors involve a visceral, non-conscious experience where the child may not remember and waking them can be dangerous; nightmares involve conscious recall of the dream content, allowing the child to articulate the fear and receive reassurance.
