  • The Draft Show

I have been listening to The Draft Show since it debuted more than a decade ago. I just wanted to refresh my review for the 2025 Draft. This is my favorite draft-related podcast, and over the last two years, I’ve switched to watching their live coverage of the draft instead of ESPN or NFL Network. The reason why is that the coverage is far better for Cowboy fans in particular, and the non-stop distractions on the other networks’ coverage has gotten to be too much. The crew covering the show ... more

  • Volume issues

The volume on the show for everyone other than the host is so hard to hear sometimes it makes me stop the episode and never go back and listen

  • Ruined, like all the other Cowboys Shows

Went from listening everyday since the beginning of all these shows to slowly each year tuning out show by show. They went from professional sounding radio voices like Eagleton, Eatman, Bill Jones, Spagnola, Phillips, Broaddus, Hekma to Shows that sound like amateur YouTube podcasts. These Shows have become unlistenable. Like ESPN Stop worrying about ex players and females and more about professional sounding voices

  • F Jerry

Nothing related to the Cowboys deserves more than 1 star anymore. I left a detailed review on the Break if anyone in the organization cares to read it. Until then I will be praying that Jerry Jones dies. Truly hope he does. I can’t believe you guys can work for him, I’d rather be homeless

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Draft Show: QB Off the Table?
Q: How does the trade affect the Cowboys' draft strategy?
It gives them flexibility to address other positions of need rather than focusing on a quarterback.
Draft Show: Chasing the Lombardi
Q: Would you go best corner or wide receiver since we need wide receivers?
If a top corner is available, I would take them over a receiver, depending on how they rank.
Draft Show: Chasing the Lombardi
Q: How far would you be willing to trade back?
If the top prospects are gone, I might trade back for more picks, but not from elite players like McMillan or Genthy.
Draft Show: Just Getting Started
Q: What have those meetings been like?
They were pretty positive and they loved my film.
Draft Show: Just Getting Started
Q: What would it mean to be drafted by the Dallas Cowboys?
It would be awesome, a historic program known everywhere.
