  • An insider cycling podcast that has humor and heart

Edit: I am updating this review almost a year later and I still adore it! I laugh so hard and I learn so much! I love these people so much.

This podcast has heart. I’m a listener from the US who found the pod after hearing Matilda Reynolds as a guest on another podcast earlier this year. It’s great to get insight into both men’s and women’s cycling on one pod and feel the enthusiasm for cycling in Australia. I’m already talking to my husband about coming out for the Tour Down Under!

Sorry, this is my last episode. I get that you all have your own opinions and you don’t have to be unbiased in a podcast, but I’m looking for overall overseas knowledge with more diplomacy, Matilda.

Live from the TDU: Stage 3 Women's TDU and Live Q&A
Q: Are there any up and coming riders from the tour and who finished quite high on GC, do you think we'll be seeing on the Vonto?
It's too early to say for the Vonto, but riders like Sarah Van Dam have shown great promise and could emerge as significant competitors.
TDU Women's Preview With Sarah Gigante
Q: How are you going? How is the rehab and why aren't you at TDU?
Sarah expresses sadness at not participating in TDU while discussing her rehab process and the team's decision for her to focus on recovery for the Grand Tours.
The rising star of cycling: Talia Appleton
Q: Did you think that made such a big difference, Talia, being able to be in an under 23 group, which has only just been introduced in the last, well, that was the first under 23 worlds that you got to compete in?
Yes, it was great to have these opportunities as there are still not a lot of under 23 races, so it's always good to compete in them.
The rising star of cycling: Talia Appleton
Q: How do you summarize this year?
It's been a pretty good year for me, gradually building up more experience and surprising myself with my results at the Tour de L'Avenir and Worlds.
Inside the WorldTour with Chris Hamilton
Q: What do you have any, I guess?
I really want to tick off or aim for nothing set in stone; just keep doing what I'm doing and be a part of more big victories.
