  • Is This Show Sponsored?

I enjoy the tone and overall positivity of the show, but it’s hard to tell if this is a serious podcast on project management or a clever method of embedded advertisement. The episode on Shared AI Mindset seemed to turn into an advertisement for a PMI certification three fourths the way through. Some clarity if and who provides sponsorship for the show would better help listeners gauge the value of the advice given. Overall, very positive host and good discussion most of the time. Keep up the go... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

I’m Building A Digital PM AI Agent Whether I Like It Or Not
Q: Aren't we working ourselves out of a job by building a team of agentic project managers?
The guest acknowledges the fear but reframes it: the goal is to extend capacity and shift TPM work toward higher-value activities like process design, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration, rather than eliminating the human role entirely.
Why Project Management Is Becoming Everyone’s Job
Q: Then I'd like to take that and just unpack it into three areas. Firstly, what was your first day on the job after becoming the project manager, and what would you do differently in 2026?
Stuart suggests pausing to define what 'done' looks like, understanding requirements clearly, and aligning on success before acting; he emphasizes learning from early experiences and applying that learning to future projects, including practical tactics for ambiguous or non-textbook initiatives.
Why AI Conversations Feel Fake (And How To Fix That)
Q: What big-picture opportunities do voice-driven AI interactions offer for businesses today?
Oliver explains that voice interfaces can address seasonality, scale human support, and preserve a brand's identity by customizing personas and maintaining a human-like social presence, which builds trust and improves efficiency.
No One Cares About Your Deck – Here's Why
Q: What makes a deck good, and what should you avoid when using AI to build decks?
A good deck aligns words with visuals, stays on-brand, avoids overcrowding, and leverages AI to draft but still relies on human review and audience-focused edits to ensure resonance.
No One Cares About Your Deck – Here's Why
Q: Is PowerPoint on its last legs as a method of communicating ideas at work?
The guest argues that no, PowerPoint remains essential because it is the primary visual aid for sustained engagement, and AI should be layered on to enhance it rather than replace it.
