  • Suggestion

May I suggest you do not add this new intro and outro to the beautiful older Br Phap Dang talks or other new talks. It’s so much louder and a very different tone...it really takes away from the peaceful and reflective space the talks create. I often listen to a few in a row and sometimes even fall asleep to them and the intro and outro is now very intrusive.

Thank you for sharing these wonderful talks. They are very valuable

  • New practitioner

I am new to the Deer Park Monastery and unfortunately my personal life does not always allow time to attend the weekly Dharma Talks so this is a fantastic way to still be connected in the community. There are some great talks on mindfulness and guided meditation.

Q: How do you manage to balance projects and still feel deeply connected as a monk?
He raises his tolerance for failure and learns to let go of projects, viewing them as seeds to be scattered. He focuses on the community's needs rather than personal achievement, finding satisfaction in supporting others' initiatives.

Q: What has allowed you to stay as a happy monk in our community, in this monastic, especially largely Vietnamese community for so long?

Q: How did you move from Germany to Plum Village?
It was a complicated journey as I didn't have proper papers, but thankfully, some monks supported me, allowing me to cross borders at night.
459: Brother Minh Nhan: See For Yourself
Q: So how does being a monastic meet that concern of, yeah, like, having meaning and helping people for you?
Practicing for myself is the core, and I see that it can be beneficial to others too, whether through dharma talks or simply how we live in the monastery.
