This week I goaded Mike Read and was slapped in the face by a posh old lady on the train. Plus more unusual audio clips curtesy of Cassette Roulette, and it’s part 9 of my childhood fantasy novella The Story Of The Brain King.
I have yet another weird massage experience. I remix Morrissey. It’s the return of Cassette Roulette and a surprise reappearance for Potato News. There’s tea-based controversy, bible studies and a Le Creuset exclusive. Plus part 8 of my childhood fan... more
We unearth my primary school reports. We finally take a little step forward with our rescue mission in part 7 of my childhood fantasy novella The Story Of The brain King. There’s listener tea reviews, advice for dealing with ferrel nursery kids, and ... more
Lots of drama this week. Pip is on a perilous precipice of a mountain; Olivia faces fire; Steve is on a mission to infiltrate his local church; I get attacked by nursery children, and it’s time to find out whether we’re able to escape the Lord Of Dar... more

Just spent an hour trudging round the park with the dog in the rain… again! But this time with the lovely diversion of David Eagle and Ellie Eagle Skinner in my lugholes. Especially enjoying the gig snippets and travel tales but the highlight has to be the washing up, so atmospheric!
I originally discovered David Eagle from a video of a comedy gig at Hot Water Comedy Club in Liverpool (2019). Since then, I’ve listened to David’s Daily Digital Dollop, and other audio entries which may or may not include stories about Musical Tourette’s, blind spots, a harrowing journey from underneath a wet, piss-filled underpass and personal anecdotes which I’m sure will come in handy for all listeners.
The David Eagle Podcast is something I look forward to each week, and I often find m... more
It is never safe to assume or guess what David will say next. Odds are it was not even close to what you imagined. Each episode is prone to flights of fancy - or insanity. It is a fine line. Thanks to David it is mow my lifes goal, even once, to be in a park and stumble across a comedian, hiding in the bushes, trying out new material on unsuspecting passers by. Hilarious, face ache from too much smiling, and a treat every episode. But NEVER trust him with your dog.
This podcast is absolutely bonkers and I love it. Ellie and David are both hilarious, Ellie’s laugh is infectious! I especially love herbal tea of the week (even though I don’t like tea), cassette roulette and the tales of harrowing journeys and gigs. Their podcast makes me properly laugh out loud!
David and Ellie make me laugh more in this joyous podcast than almost anything else. I came to it through my love of The Young’Uns and their wonderful podcast but this is a different beast. The herbal teas, the potatoes, the fact that David is just naturally hilarious, it’s just random, mad and joyful!
