Dave just bought his first e-bike so we talk about how the technology and the prices have changed over the past couple of years. WWDC is coming up next week and it is going to be an exciting time. Of course, the biggest news is that Gemini will now b... more
In an article for Bloomberg, Mark Gurman makes the case for an Apple Watch reboot. He's certainly not wrong, the Apple Watch has been stagnant for years now. Some keen people have found a new URL in the updated code pointing to a new subdomain genai.... more

This used to be a great podcast. It’s still called the Dalrymple report with only Jim’s name on it. But Dave does most of the talking and Jim just phones it in. Mostly he just grunts and says and let’s hear from our sponsor.
There are no insights anymore through Jim’s connections and expertise. He doesn’t even use any of Apple’s new stuff to have a view on any of it.
Unsubscribed.

Another update on this beclowned podcast. When will Jim jetison this Dave Mark. Today he went on and on about the Baltimore bridge collapse with an emotional overprint. What does this have to do with Apple? I don’t care what this joker thinks about the bridge just because you drove over it a few times. I keep coming back to this podcast hoping has either removed the Dave Mark infestation or at least reined him in. I just get angry. I want to hear from Jim, but he just lets the other guy just dr... more
Knowledgeable Apple superuser and pundit Jim Dalrymples weekly conversation with his friend - who couldn’t be less knowledgeable or experienced. Jim is 5/5. Dave is 0/5. Seriously, Dave just rambles on about things he has read about but has no experience with - or worse - has failed to dig into with any effort. So basically this clown just reads headlines about things and then spouts off random incorrect things. If you have any background knowledge about the topic you’ll be pulling you... more
Jim is great but has no business having his own podcast as he never speaks for more than 10% of the show. Dave, OTOH, babbles incessantly. I keep trying the show every few months but nothing has changed and listening to Dave is just cringy.

Two long-running Apple- and tech-focused hosts trade quick-witted banter with deep dives into current rumors, product roadmaps, and industry shifts. Episodes repeatedly cover Apple Intelligence, new hardware, software strategy, and AI implications, often weaving in cultural tangents, personal anecdotes, and occasional true-crime or history references. Sponsorships are part of the flow, and the conversation tends to blend hard tech analysis with accessible, opinionated takes intended for curious enthusiasts and professionals tracking Apple's ecosystem. Notable throughlines include leadership changes, device strategy (hardware vs. software), and privacy versus monetization debates, all framed by a friendly, bantery dynamic that can feel both ... more
