  • Great Topics for Dads

It’s really cool to have a dedicated podcast for fathers raising sons. The topics are awesome. On any given episode the chapters are very on point. I like that it’s unscripted and not a monologue style podcast, and it’s more of an interview style. Genuine!

I think my only concern is that some episodes seem very low energy like the people being interviewed are not engaging. I’m listening to a recent episode where the host had to repeat his question to get opinions of the guests who sound like th... more

Why Willpower Never Beats Your Subconscious featuring Thais Gibson
Q: How do you begin to rewire core wounds and change behavior?
Start by identifying the wound, articulating its opposite, gather ten concrete evidences of how you are good enough beyond appearance, then record and repeat aloud for 21 days to reprogram the subconscious with emotion and imagery.
Why Willpower Never Beats Your Subconscious featuring Thais Gibson
Q: What exactly are the differences between the subconscious and the conscious mind?
The conscious mind is the logical, analytical part we identify with, while the subconscious stores conditioning, emotions, and memories; it drives most behavior unless we actively rewire it.
Raising Daughters Who Hold Themselves to a Standard featuring Sterling Seizert
Q: How can listeners apply military leadership principles to their families and relationships?
Lead by example with clear standards, communicate with respect, avoid punitive verbal battles, and frame leadership as serving your spouse and children, while staying adaptable and staying united against the bigger problems you face together.
Raising Daughters Who Hold Themselves to a Standard featuring Sterling Seizert
Q: What was going through your mind during that moment when you were handed the heart and the surgeon directed you to massage it?
I was deeply aware of the life-or-death stakes, leveraging training and the medic's guidance to perform essential steps, while confronting the gravity of holding a man's heart and the realization that every action could determine whether he survived.
How Your Old Solutions Became Your Current Problems featuring Gary John Bishop
Q: What does it mean that old solutions become current problems, and how can someone start to shift out of that cycle?
It means the strategies that once fixed past pains now entrench you in new patterns; you start by recognizing that you are not defined by your problems and begin reimagining your being—choosing a new declaration of who you are and aligning actions with that identity.
