  • I love this podcast so much

As an aspiring author myself, having access to a constant stream and massive archive of talented writers, talking through how they made their sausage, and all the ups and downs in the process is extremely valuable. And inspiring. Brendan is doing great work here.

  • Great episode

Just listened to your discussion with Isa Adney and thought it was fantastic. You asked her a lot of good questions about the challenges of being a creative person with “dreams” (or “goals,” per your discussion!) and she had such thoughtful answers. I felt so grounded after listening to the conversation. Loved it!

  • Great show for the wayward CNFers

If you love to write creative nonfiction this is the place for you. I’ve been writing a memoir for a while and love hearing how other writers do their work from craft issues to other processes in getting their work to the finish line. Brendan asks great questions as a fellow writer dealing with the same issues and he is easy to listen to driving to and from work. He has a good sense of humor and love for CNF (creative nonfiction). Also love his metallic guitar riffs. I listen to one per day and ... more
