  • MORE EPISODES PLEASW

Love, listening to the show while I am running. Why.? Not only is it great content, but because I hate running at a motivates me. I need more episodes though. It doesn’t have to be fancy everyday people that run. Some of your voice phone notes. Have some interesting back stories that one could delve into further. So PLEASS more episodes.

  • C25K Got me through brain surgery

I love this podcast as Couch to 5k should be spread far and wide. The enthusiasm of Giovanna and her guests is infectious (& I completed C25K a few years ago at 58 years old) I am now 63 and still running and loving it. At 61 I ran my first 10k in New Zealand and I run Parkrun regularly. If you are having doubts, let this podcast inspire you, get the app and get going, you won’t regret it. In 2022 I had brain surgery twice for two brain tumours. I recovered quickly and fully despite my age. my ... more

Javeno McLean - Don't negotiate with your mind and taking opportunities now
Q: What would you say to someone who might be feeling limited right now?
You ain't here forever. You don't know what's around the corner.
Javeno McLean - Don't negotiate with your mind and taking opportunities now
Q: What advice would you give to anyone that's listening, that's thinking about maybe starting a 5K or thinking about just taking on that new challenge?
Don't think. Don't give yourself too much time to think because you will think yourself out of it.
Savannah Sachdev - Running at least 10 minutes every day since 2021
Q: If you could give any advice to someone who's about to start The Couch to 5K, what would you say?
Genuinely going for a little shuffle will get you so much more acclimatized quicker than you realize.
Maisie Adam – where the mind drifts whilst running and overcoming the struggles of a marathon
Q: What would your piece of advice be for someone starting a running journey?
Don't listen to all the outside kind of, you must do this, you mustn't do that. Do what you can do and what you want to do and what works for you.
Sara Davies MBE – the life-changing Couch to 5K prescription and finding time to run as a busy mum and TV Dragon.
Q: What would you say to someone who is thinking about starting or is starting now their Couch to 5K journey?
The big thing for me is what's stopping you? Because honestly, if you peel back, if you question what it is you're letting yourself stop, it'll be an excuse.
