Most engaging media on Greek and Roman history I’ve engaged with. My son loves it too. On the drive to drop him off at school if I ever have anything else playing he will ask if I can turn the “stories” back on:
Alex Petkas has knack for storytelling. He is able to paint a vivid image of the past, create high intensity drama while narrating highly complicated stories with thousands of side characters living in a long forgotten places, yet it all still makes sense.
I knew that Caesar was one of the best leaders of the ancient past, but through this podcast, I fell in love with this superb leader. Not because is was perfect but because he was unbeatable, yet still kind and generous.

That’s right: Of All Time, without exception. Going with Plutarch was a great choice and it anchors the podcast well.
This podcast has been on my "wait list" for some time, it felt binge worthy so I wanted a chunk of time to give it a fair chance.
And I was not disappointed. Alex has a tone and timbre of voice like Barry White, and the material is both utterly fascinating and compelling. Any student of history looking for more than just dates and events will love it.
