This is a cultural history episode about sexuality in Ancient Rome. I thought the topic would be fun and juicy, but that’s because my memory of Roman sexuality was hazy. After refreshing it with lots of research, I can safely say that ‘fun’ is not a ... more
I am sorry to be taking you on this dark journey, but I strongly feel this is an important story that everyone should know. Over the years, I've tackled some heavy topics. This is definitely one of the heaviest. This episode covers some of the things... more

Daniele is an excellent history podcaster. He is the best history podcaster on Native American history and he’s a great story teller. Elite on every level. Can’t miss pods on the Taiping, Spanish conquest of Mexico and American conquest of the North American west. I Can’t recommend him enough.
I am very interested in the information but his accent is so thick I can only catch a few words. I even turned to the slowest recording and it is still mumble jumble in the lowest registers. I intend to give him a few more tries because I love history. His version doesn’t seem so left slanted as others
Love his approach to the stories he presents here. Been a fan since the early days when I first heard you on JRE
Informative, entertaining, well-researched with a charming host.
I still stand by this. Bravo. If you don't listen to this podcast than don't listen to any other podcast because that will be a waste of your time. Bravo, Bravo 5 stars Bravo, Bravo!
