  • One of my Favorites

I always get a little dopamine hit when I hear the opening music. Rebecca has great guests with interesting stories and areas of expertise. I appreciate the perspectives that address things I’ve been considering and things I never thought to consider. Every time I learn something new and feel like I have a greater appreciation for another glimpse of the world.

  • This is a great podcast!

I’m a transgender girl who isn’t Christian, I came here to see differing perspectives from my own. The hosts do a wonderful job of being very respectful to others perspectives! I started listening to the “are trans women women?”episode and I feel very safe after hearing it, unlike some other people who engage in that topic. The only thing I didn’t like was the mention of Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria (ROGD) as actual fact. The ROGD study was done in a very inappropriate manner, as the researcher ... more

  • Inspiring Two Generations!

Love this podcast. I listen to it with my girls (aged 14 & 12) whilst on the school run and it has been such a blessing for us to think through big issues from a Christian worldview. Keep up the amazing work!

  • Love, love, love

This is one of the few podcasts I never miss an episode of. I absolutely love the vast variety of guests that we get to listen in on. The way Rebecca interacts and challenges ideas never ceases to make me think deeper on my own faith. I just want to thank Kyle for pushing her to start this podcast because it makes such a difference. I would love to hear an episode starring David Bennett on the topic of serving God as a same sex attracted individual because it becomes a larger and larger topic as... more

What If Jesus Really Rose? with Mike Hood
Q: What drew you to study English literature, and how did that influence your faith journey?
Mike describes how literature taught him to value evidence and narrative alongside faith, helping him see the resurrection as not merely a belief but a historically grounded claim that stood up to scrutiny in academic settings.
Is Aging Good, Bad or Ugly? with Jen Wilkin (Part 2)
Q: And there is an opportunity to show a particular kind of love to those who are younger than we are, that actually those younger than we are people really want and need.
Yes, aging adults can be a source of encouragement, wisdom, and care for younger generations, and this intergenerational connection is a meaningful vocation within the church.
Is Aging Good, Bad or Ugly? with Jen Wilkin (Part 1)
Q: So clearly you've been thinking a lot about this, having written a book about aging; why did you write this book in the first place?
Jen explains that the conversation about aging had been largely silent in churches, and she wanted to cast a biblical, hopeful vision of aging that honors the elderly, supports caregivers, and redefines family around the church rather than just the nuclear model.
Can Psychology Help Us Become More Like Christ? with Jo Johnson
Q: Help us understand, Jo, from your perspective as a Christian who sort of has these professional encounters with people who are acting in ways that even they would recognize as really bad. How do we disentangle this?
We are all made in the image of God and thus capable of great good, but we struggle due to our fallen nature, which leads us to make wrong choices and feel guilt and shame.
Why Read Poetry? with Stephen Witmer
Q: What was your PhD on?
It was a New Testament PhD, focusing on the theme of divine instruction in early Christianity, particularly the teachings of Jesus about direct divine instruction.
