I have been to some of Jordan’s camps and they are amazing. His podcasts are just as good. I love how he always brings the mental part into basketball. I think it’s always assumed that physical health is all you need. But if you don’t have your mind and spirit together you will achieve nothing.

Coach Kevin Alsup | NEW CTA TRAINER
Q: What final thought would you want listeners to take away from this conversation?
Life is a team activity; you cannot accomplish your true potential in isolation, so seek out mentors and teammates who can support and challenge you on the journey.
Coach Kevin Alsup | NEW CTA TRAINER
Q: What would you tell the middle schooler or high schooler athlete listening right now, things that they should do to get to that next level?
There's no substitute for hard work. Stay committed to the process, focus on becoming as good as you can be rather than comparing yourself to others, and understand that growth brings rewards in many areas of life.
Coach Kevin Alsup | NEW CTA TRAINER
Q: Break down for the people listening. What's your coaching philosophy when someone signs up to work with you? What are they getting?
They will get someone passionate and intentional about developing the individual skill set, focusing on strengths, addressing weaknesses, and most importantly building a relationship that helps the player grow in fitness, confidence, and character.
Robert Vaden | IU, UAB, NBA, Overseas Player and Current Trainer
Q: What made the difference in transitioning from college to pro?
Being around higher-caliber players like KD and Harden taught him lessons in confidence, work ethic, and humility, and the importance of preparing for opportunities.
Robert Vaden | IU, UAB, NBA, Overseas Player and Current Trainer
Q: What was your mindset as you prepared for the draft and early pro career?
He explains that showing up consistently, staying dedicated to training, and valuing character and coachability were essential, even more than raw skill, to sustain a long professional career.
