I love Reich, I appreciate him in every way, but I’m getting very, very tired of the refusal to admit genocide and instead call it large-scale starvation and use other sanitized language about something that is indefensible. Trump—while he is awful, what is more disturbing is who is backing him and composing his platform and agenda. He is merely a very easily flattered narcissist who is happy to appear for his television pop-ups. Perhaps it would be more accurate to refer to Trump with slashes to indicate just who is orchestrating the destruction of democracy.
