There are some really funny takes from some of the guys, but I can’t understand what Alan is saying at all. His audio is terrible and he speaks way too fast.
I used to love this podcast - I listened all the time and really enjoyed all the hosts. But honestly the way they treat/talk about female fans rubbed me wrong way and felt gross sometimes to the point it made me stop enjoying listening. They often mention how soaps are a female led genre and how it needs more female voices in head writing, as EPs, etc but then don’t have a woman on their own panel. It feels disingenuous. As a soap viewer for my entire life I always enjoy hearing other fans discuss the genre. This was becoming a favorite podcast but makes me very sad to hear how ageist these guys are. Talking bad about older actors appearances and how they don’t want to see them used in action stories? Crazy disappointed.
