I want to thank Marc for his work and perseverance in keeping Irish/Scottish music and Celtic culture alive! Even when you're based outside the Celtic countries, you can still make a strong contribution to upholding the music, the bands, the language, the traditions and so on. As someone who tries to do this himself, I can relate to the work Marc does. more
I enjoy this podcast very much. Marc has a voice that just grabs your attention. He talks about Celtic music but also about Sci-fi topics that I know and understand. He is very down to earth and real. It's like listening to a friend talk. Love it Marc! more
While I love the interviews, I love when you share your braindroppings: when you're just talking and rambling about whatever comes to mind: music, marketing, intrvroversion, Kensie, whatever. I don't mean to make you self-concience about it, just start recording. No script, and talk!
I have enjoyed listening to The Celtic Geek. It is a very positive and uplifting podcast with great information on various celtic and science fiction information. This podcast is a nice complement to the Irish and Celtic Music Podcast. Keep up the great job Marc!
This podcast I like to refer in my head as "Marc's Musings." It is a great podcast, especially for fans of Marc Gunn. The episodes range from sharing the love of Firefly and Dr. Who to family, following dreams, and starting a business. It definitely replaces what I missed after the Pub Songs Podcast ended and does feel like a personal chat with a friend. I will definitely keep listening and I look forward to my Monday inspirational and/or thoughtful and/or general geekery podcast.
Really like this new podcast venture by celtic musician Marc Gunn! It's like having a conversation with a friend about celtic sci-fi fantasy geek topics you both love. I like the length...it's just right for a listen without feeling like I can't keep up with the content.
