  • After reading his book of the same title, I was glad to find this podcast! Scott Klusendorf is a great teacher because he truly breaks down the arguments, describes the worldview behind it, citing works from people who have adopted that worldview & brings it all together in a relatable, relevant way. I also appreciate that he follows each claim to its conclusion, identifying motives & essentially exposing the flaws of the argument. This not only brings clarity for you, but also forces the one ma... more

Christianity purely as subjective experience
Q: What does Megan see as Peters' core missteps in relation to Christian theology and Scripture?
Megan identifies Peters as downplaying biblical authority, using outdated interpretations, and appealing to a Marxist-influenced framework rather than presenting the gospel, while also noting her avoidance of explicit gospel messaging.
Christianity purely as subjective experience
Q: Tell us, tell us if you would, a little bit about what her primary argument is.
Rebecca Todd Peters argues from a progressive Christian perspective that abortion can be legitimate, presenting it as a matter of compassion and personal autonomy, but the hosts challenge this by noting her reliance on intersectionality and a stance that undermines biblical grounding.
Christian worldview training is not an option
Q: What topics will Megan cover in Summit this summer?
Topics include Pro-Life apologetics, moral relativism, bioethics, in vitro fertilization and end-of-life questions, marriage from biblical and natural law perspectives, and beauty and aesthetics, with a focus on how these intersect with a Christian worldview.
Christian worldview training is not an option
Q: Is the cost of attendance a barrier, and how is it addressed?
While cost is a concern for some families, donors, sponsors, and churches provide scholarships and discounts, and many families regard the transformative impact on a student as worth the investment.
Christian worldview training is not an option
Q: How is Summit able to handle both extroverted and introverted students and keep them engaged?
Summit combines ample structured teaching with outdoor activities, mentorship, carefully arranged seating to mix genders, and staff-led small groups to ensure everyone is supported and not left behind, including strong pastoral care and individualized attention.
