  • MAGA Evangelical Delusions

I am aware that I am not the target audience for this podcast. But as someone who used to attend Dean’s church in college, I was curious his take on things. I have since left the church, in large part because of this type of MAGA Christian. I can’t imagine the hoops that Trump supporting Christians have to jump through to make this man fit your agenda. Looking forward to next week’s episode where you do a deep dive into the horrifying accusations against Trump in the newly released Epstein files... more

  • CT Got You Down?

This podcast literally lowers my blood pressure. As a young Christian mom, it is so encouraging to hear Christian voices that speak truth without bending the knee to the left and also without becoming theo bro polygamy apologists. A line many find hard to walk these days.

  • Great Find

Bully Pulpit has inserted itself into my short list of must listen podcasts (alongside The Briefing, Theologically Driven, and Pastor Well). That’s surprising because it was accidentally discovered. Sort of. I looked up Teetsel after reading a Megan Basham article published by Christ Over All. His comments in that piece had impressed me. My first episode was 27 March, and I’ve only missed a few episodes since. As a pastor, I’m amused that, instead of the “two pastors and the ethics professor,” I... more

  • Almost a 5

I enjoy the timely topics and lively conversation. The only reason you don't get a five is because of a dean's microphone and B you you frequently talk over one another.

  • Faithful Cultural Discernment

My wife and I deeply appreciated your podcast which offers thoughtful, biblically Reformed commentary that engages modern issues with theological depth and discernment. As listeners in our late 50s and early 60s, we appreciate its clarity, biblical faithfulness, and willingness to challenge prevailing cultural assumptions without unnecessary sensationalism. It is a refreshing and edifying resource for Christians seeking faithful analysis rather than trend-driven commentary.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Minnesota Church Invasion with Kevin Ezell
Q: What would your encouragement to pastors be as they prepare for potential disruptions?
You don't fully appreciate the network of family of churches that you're a part of until you go through something like this and realize you're not alone.
Minnesota Church Invasion with Kevin Ezell
Q: What are you seeing right now in the landscape of church leadership based on these recent incidents?
There is tremendous angst, and tension across North America. I think our churches aren't prepared for what could happen.
Minnesota Church Invasion with Kevin Ezell
Q: How did you first find out Sunday morning about what happened at City's Church?
I was in Black Mountain at one of our church plants when I received a call that Andrew Walker had tweeted about the incident, and I immediately contacted Jonathan, the pastor there.
Islamist Threat Rising, Minnesota Fraud Exposed, and Assimilation Under Fire
Q: As a Christian in DC, how do you reason with people who profess to be Christians and vote Democrat?
Many attempt to reconcile their faith with progressive policies through interpretations focused on justice and care for the poor, despite the conflicting views on essential biblical values.
Trump Seeks Heaven, Peace Talks, NFL Wokeness and Evangelical Friend Policing
Q: What would you say to someone who believes Christians should not appear to be Republican or Democrat to reach unbelievers effectively?
I appreciate any sensitivity towards evangelism, but it's a flawed premise to suggest that we must remain nonpartisan given the moral implications of current political issues.
