  • JD Greear

Thank you for your podcast. I appreciate the discussion and the variety of perspectives. Ironically, I recently found you through an ad in the Charles C. W. Cooke podcast, a conservative-minded podcaster, and a professed atheist.

I appreciated the conversation with J.D. Greear. I found myself wanting to jump into the conversation on several turns (as I do with most of your episodes). On the conversation with Mr. Greear, a couple of things came to mind. First, regarding the back and forth on how... more

  • Permission To Be Conservative

It feels like the culture, and some Christian organizations, have told us for too long that if you are conservative, you’re not really following Jesus. These guys give us permission to be Christian AND conservative. Their thoughtful, biblical discussions help us think through cultural issues through a Gospel filter.

I truly enjoy this podcast. While not as enthusiastically pro Trump as the group I am grateful he is president and not KH.

I was troubled by the characterization of the Tucker Carlson interview with Nick Fuentez.

While I agree with your characterization of Fuentes I think you let Tucker off way too easy. He did not challenge the evil this man exhibits and should be held to account for that.

Tucker has joined the Candice Owen/Steve Bannon space that should not be part of any political moveme... more

  • Excellent Mike Winger episode

The recent episode with guest Mike Winger is the best episode yet. I’d invite anyone wondering about the pod to give that episode a listen. I have great respect for Mike Winger as a serious student of Scripture and its thoughtful application. I look forward to hearing more of his developing observations when he next visits someday as a returning guest.

Meanwhile, I hope the regulars continue to challenge each other’s thinking in their humorous, yet loving and respectful way.

Q: What would you say to someone who believes Christians should not appear to be Republican or Democrat to reach unbelievers effectively?
I appreciate any sensitivity towards evangelism, but it's a flawed premise to suggest that we must remain nonpartisan given the moral implications of current political issues.
The Middle East, Mental Health, and the Crisis of Modern Faith

Eschatological interpretations depend on individual perspectives, but many Christians find hope in Christ being sovereign amidst current events.
