  • Let’s get Dean a real microphone

I listen to NR’s The Editors regularly and they pointed me to your podcast. I enjoy the show as it fits in with other shows I listen to such as Breakpoint, The Briefing, The World and Everything In It, etc. But I do have a few requests. Sometimes it’s hard to know who is speaking, it may help to have a short introduction at the beginning. It is also really hard to understand Dean due to the poor quality microphone.

If you want a news podcast that brings sanity and God’s truth to an insane world and doesn’t nuance things to death until you don’t know what is up or down, this is the podcast for you. Thanks, guys. -From a Moody Bible Institute grad who can’t bring herself to say, love you Wheaton.

  • I’d Pay For This Podcast

Heard an advertisement for this podcast on The McCarthy Report. The lineup sounded intriguing, though I had heard of none of these guys. Now I’m sure we’d be best friends. Thoughtful and funny, serious and occasionally irreverent always biblically sound so far.

  • Opportunities for Improvement

I offer this critique in good faith and my aim is provide constructive feedback:

    1. The premise of the podcast is interesting: 2 pastors, ethics professor, political operative dissect current events through a Christian worldview. While this does come through periodically, the positions of each participant are highly unified among the group and have thus become highly predictable.

Perhaps the single most interesting subject I heard them discuss was public vs private school, because they actual... more

  • Thank you guys for doing this show!!!

I’m a member at The Journey Church, so I’ve heard Erik talk about this podcast before. My husband has been listening since it started, and at the beginning of this year he encouraged me to try it too. I listened to a few episodes but then got out of the habit. After the recent horrible events in our nation, he encouraged me to listen again.

Although I don’t always understand every word or fully grasp everything being talked about, I’ve been deeply convicted about staying silent in my faith and ... more

Eschatological interpretations depend on individual perspectives, but many Christians find hope in Christ being sovereign amidst current events.

Tragedy in New Orleans, Greenland the 51st state, and Zuckerberg with Nathan Leamer
Q: Nathan, can I tee this up and have you high level, say what happened this week with Zuckerberg's video that he did and what he laid out?

The California Wildfires, Remembering President Carter, and America is SO back!
