"May Contain: My Life" - Documentary Filmmaker Jennifer Greenstreet
Q: Tell me about the heavy hitter that came in, Jerome Bettis, and why that matters.
Jerome Bettis' participation helps challenge stereotypes about people with allergies by showcasing a figure known for physical prowess and leadership, illustrating that individuals with allergies come from all walks of life and can be strong advocates, thereby broadening the film's appeal and credibility.
"May Contain: My Life" - Documentary Filmmaker Jennifer Greenstreet
Q: Tell me about how you wanted to construct this piece for its structure.
The construction was born from making the topic accessible and engaging for a broad audience, combining narrative storytelling with talking-head interviews to balance personal journeys with scientific context and to end the stigma surrounding life-threatening food allergies.
2026 Cinequest- "Born To Lose"
Q: Can you share details about the standout stunt sequence and how it was filmed?
We planned the stunt meticulously with the stunt team, used a camera car and one B camera, did it in one take after two months of prep, and wrapped at sunrise for a meaningful end to filming.
2026 Cinequest- "Born To Lose"
Q: How did you approach the pacing and editing of the film?
I initially thought the film would be longer and slower, but during editing we discovered quicker pacing and a varied tempo that better suited the material and kept the audience engaged.
2026 Cinequest- "Born To Lose"
Q: Tell me a little bit about Born To Lose.
It's a contemporary biker flick and a generational drama about inherited legacy, forging self-identity, and a romantic component that complicates the two main characters' lives.
